The difference: 230 mm more interior height and up to 4.5 times more cargo volume.
What 230 mm mean in practice
Stehen im Fond: In the T5/T6, children up to 12 years can stand upright. In the ID. Buzz, no one can stand.
Camping: Aufstelldach auf dem T5/T6 = über 2 m Stehhöhe. Beim ID. Buzz gibt es kein Aufstelldach.
Loading: A Euro pallet upright (1,200 mm) does not fit in the ID. Buzz (1,180 mm). In the T5/T6 it does.
Umbauten: Kitchen modules and bed systems need height. The T5/T6 provides enough for professional camping fit-outs.
Seat rails: the underestimated feature
The ID. Buzz has no seat rails. In the T5/T6 Multivan they are standard: move, rotate, remove seats – in seconds, without tools. The family van becomes a delivery van becomes a camping bus – on the same day.
ESDI T5/T6 electric: same space, different drive
The ESDI electric conversion changes nothing about the interior. The battery sits under the floor, the motor replaces the diesel at the front. All 1,410 mm of interior height remain. All seat rails remain. The entire accessory ecosystem remains compatible.
