Based on our TÜV-compliant concept, you receive all the components you need for a safe and professional conversion – including documentation and support.

Power
Die kW- und PS-Angaben sind die Maximalleistung der Antriebseinheit. Eingetragen wird, was die Peripherie deines Fahrzeugs hergibt – Bremse und Fahrwerk geben den Rahmen vor, die Leistung wird darauf begrenzt.
Du musst also nichts aufrüsten, nur weil in der Tabelle eine große Zahl steht. Du bekommst eine Einheit, die mehr könnte, als bei dir freigegeben wird.
Klimaanlage
Ist in deinem Fahrzeug eine Klimaanlage verbaut, bleibt sie nutzbar. Der Serienkompressor hängt am Riemen des Verbrenners und fällt mit ihm weg – wir setzen einen HV-Kompressor ein, der die Anlage weiterbetreibt und zugleich die Batterie kühlt.
Ist keine verbaut, entsteht durch den Umbau auch keine – nachrüsten können wir sie nicht. Das gilt in jeder Stufe gleich.
Ausbau des Verbrenners
Dein Fahrzeug kommt leer zu uns, der Antriebsstrang ist dann bereits raus. Wir elektrifizieren, wir entkernen nicht.
Das übernimmt unser Partner CGM – Classic German Motors gegen Aufpreis, und CGM kann mehr: Restauration, Strahlen, Unterbodenaufbereitung und -konservierung, frische Bremsen und Achsteile. Deine ausgebauten Altteile vermarktet CGM auf Wunsch in Kommission.
TÜV
Die Begleitung zum TÜV und die Vorführung des Fahrzeugs übernehmen wir – das ist Teil unserer Leistung.
Die Gebühren für Gutachten und Einzelabnahme stellen wir unverändert durch. Die Prüfung wird immer auf den Fahrzeughalter ausgestellt, du zahlst sie direkt.

Frequently Asked Questions about the VW T3 Electric Conversion
Which T3 models are compatible?
All VW T3 variants (1979–1992) – Bulli, Multivan, Caravelle, Pickup. Syncro vehicles are technically also convertible, but due to our Direct-Drive concept (electric motor directly on the rear axle, without gearbox) they lose the all-wheel drive including differential locks. The vehicle becomes rear-wheel drive. An AWD T3 is currently not available.
How much power does the T3 have afterwards?
150–220 kW (approx. 200–300 HP) depending on configuration. The original Wasserboxer had approx. 70–95 HP – the difference in driving feel is enormous. Especially the instantly available torque characteristic of the electric motor makes the T3 a completely new driving experience.
How fast does the T3 charge?
CCS fast charging up to 70 kW (VOYAGER) is available. From 20% to 80% in approx. 30–45 minutes. AC charging at the wallbox with 10 kW: full charge in 3–5 hours. Perfect for overnight charging at home.
What range do I achieve?
200 km (PURE, ca. 55 kWh) bis 350 km (VOYAGER, 82 kWh) je nach Batteriepaket. Der T3 ist zwar schwerer als T1 und T2, profitiert aber von der besseren Aerodynamik. Für den Alltag und Kurzurlaube absolut ausreichend.
What does the T3 electric conversion cost?
Kit ab 29.990 €, schlüsselfertig eingebaut 34.990–69.990 € je nach Stufe (Kit-Preis plus 5.000 € Einbau, ohne Basisfahrzeug). Der T3 ist dank des großen Motorraums und der robusten Konstruktion besonders gut für den Elektroumbau geeignet.
Do I keep the Wasserboxer sound?
No – but the electric drive has its own appeal. Silent gliding, instant torque and no vibration. Many T3 owners say: the Wasserboxer sound isn't missed once you've experienced the electric driving feel.
