Under 2 seconds to 100 — the newest video
In April 2026, JP Performance released the latest chapter of the Volto saga: can the Volto 850 do 100 km/h in under 2 seconds? Plus Marco birthday surprise. Already over 768,000 views in the first three days.

Neunziger-Ikone, Zukunftsantrieb
The Volvo 850 is a car of the nineties with character. Jean Pierre Kraemer (JP Performance) and his team wanted to make it future-proof — not as an art object, but as a driving machine. The result is VOLTO 850: the fastest Volvo ever built.
Two Tesla Large Drive Unit Sport motors together deliver over 1,020 hp. 90 kWh of energy from Porsche Taycan modules power the car. The performance is impressive without staging: 2.61 seconds to 100 km/h, top speed 320 km/h. The drive concept is intelligent: the driver can switch between AWD, RWD and FWD — maximum control, maximum flexibility.
The color is no coincidence — the bright yellow is a statement. Hote Design shaped the exterior, Mean Machines realized the body kit and the chassis. Under the hood is pure engineering craftsmanship from ESDI.
Komplette Elektrointegration
ESDI realized the complete electrical integration — from the high-voltage wiring through the battery management system to the motor control. Every control unit, every cable, every protection system comes from ESDI. The challenge: to integrate two LDU Sport drives into a Volvo 850 in such a way that the driver can choose between three drive modes — AWD for maximum traction, RWD for driving fun, FWD for efficiency.
Alexander Lührmann and the ESDI team worked for months on the electronics architecture. The result is a system that not only works, but operates reliably under extreme load — on the road, on the test bench, and on the show stage.
Milestones
Automotive Engineering im 21. Jahrhundert
VOLTO 850 was on display at the Essen Motor Show in 2024 — JP Performance biggest stage of the year. In 2025 the Reload Land Festival in Berlin followed, in front of thousands of spectators. The YouTube films on JP Performance reached over 1.2 million views — the April 2026 video alone achieved 768,000 views in three days. International media such as Streetwell from the Netherlands and Carup from Sweden reported on the project. The Volto 850 stands for a new generation of automotive engineering — classic DNA with future technology.
