Unser T2 electric conversion kit combines a powerful electric drive with a generous high-voltage battery and integrates into the existing vehicle structure.
Based on our TÜV-compliant concept, you receive all the components you need for a safe and professional conversion – including documentation and support.

Check the vehicle & select the kit – We clarify with you which power and battery package suits your intended use.
Installation at ESDI or a partner workshop – The pre-assembled system is installed, connected and commissioned.
TÜV inspection & handover – With our documentation the technical inspection is no problem; afterwards you take over your electric T2.

Frequently asked questions about the VW T2 electric conversion
Does the kit fit in every T2?
Yes – our kit is designed for all VW T2 (Type 2, 1967–1979), including Bulli, Kombi, flatbed and Westfalia camper. The rear installation position makes optimal use of the existing engine compartment.
How much power does the T2 get?
150 hp and 300 Nm in the standard configuration. Compared to the original 50 hp boxer, that is an enormous difference – especially when pulling away on a hill and when overtaking on country roads.
How long does the installation take?
Approx. 3–5 working days with the pre-assembled plug-and-play system.
What range does the T2 have?
200 km (PURE, 48 kWh) to 350 km (VOYAGER, 65 kWh) depending on the battery package and driving style. The T2 is heavier than the Beetle but lighter than the T3 – the range lies accordingly in between.
What does the T2 electric conversion cost?
The kit starts at 29,990 €. Complete conversion typically between 40,000 and 55,000 €.
Is the conversion TÜV-compliant and reversible?
Yes, both. Complete TÜV documentation and reversible – without body modifications.
