Our kit is designed for all Porsche 964 variants (1989–1994): Carrera 2 (Heckantrieb), Carrera 4 (all-wheel drive – front axle is adapted), Targa, Cabriolet and on request also Turbo (965). Most adaptations are identical; only on the Carrera 4 is the power distribution adjusted.

The Performance variant with 300 hp offers considerably more power than the original boxer with instantly available torque. The Ultimate variant transforms the 964 into a true supersports car with 550 hp.
Einbau in 3–5 Tagen
Day 1–2: removal of boxer engine + gearbox, fitting of the ESDI EV motor adapter and Tesla SDU/LDU. Day 2–3: battery installation (front luggage compartment + central tunnel), cooling system. Day 3–4: HV and LV wiring, CCS charging socket, display. Day 4–5: commissioning, test drive, TÜV preparation.

Frequently asked questions about the Porsche 964 electric conversion
Does the kit fit every 964?
Yes, our kit is designed for all Porsche 964 variants – Carrera 2, Carrera 4, Targa and Cabriolet. The basic structure is identical; only on the Carrera 4 is the front axle adapted. Turbo models (965) can also be converted, but require an adapted engine mount.
How much power does the 964 have after the conversion?
Depending on the kit configuration, 300 to 550 hp is possible. The Performance variant with a Tesla LDU delivers 300 hp and 450 Nm – more than the original 3.6-litre boxer. For maximum power, the ULTIMATE variant offers up to 550 hp with a reinforced drivetrain.
How long does the installation take?
The installation of the pre-assembled plug-and-play system takes 6–8 weeks with an experienced mechanic. When installed in our workshop in Herford or by a B2B partner, the vehicle is ready to drive in 6–8 weeks including TÜV approval.
What does the 964 electric conversion cost?
The kit starts from €59,990. The total price depends on the chosen power level and the battery package. A typical complete conversion incl. installation is between €55,000 and €80,000. Financing options are available on request.
Is the conversion reversible?
Completely. No bodywork cuts or permanent changes whatsoever. The original boxer engine can be reinstalled at any time. This protects the collector value of your 964.
What range do I achieve?
With the 45 kWh package (PERFORMANCE) around 300 km, with the 48 kWh package up to 350 km according to WLTP. CCS fast charging is standard – from 20% to 80% in about 30 minutes at a DC charger.
Do I get TÜV approval?
Yes. All our kits are supplied with complete TÜV documentation. The conversion complies with German road traffic regulations. Approval by the TÜV is straightforward with correct installation – we support you with all the required documents.
Is there a warranty?
We give a 2-year warranty on all ESDI EV components. The battery has an extended warranty of 5 years or 100,000 km. When installed by our workshop or certified partners, an installation warranty also applies.
