ESDI EV Beetle Electric Conversion Kit
Our Beetle electric conversion kit was specifically developed for air-cooled Beetles with semi-trailing arm rear axle and has been tested multiple times in practice.
Unlike universal DIY solutions, the system comes fully pre-assembled, reversible and TÜV-ready.
The result: maximum performance and everyday usability with clean integration, no body cuts and no experimental wiring.
Process – how your Beetle goes electric
Check vehicle & select kit – We clarify with you which performance and battery package suits your intended use.
Installation at ESDI or partner workshop – The pre-assembled system is installed, connected and commissioned.
TÜV inspection & handover – With our documentation, the technical inspection is no problem, then you take over your electric Beetle.
REVERSIBLE CONVERSION
The original vehicle structure remains completely intact.
No welding, no cutting – all components use existing mounting points and are reversible. This preserves the vehicle's value.
