The conversion process
Step 1: consultation – We assess your vehicle, discuss your goals and recommend the right configuration.
Step 2: kit selection – Choose power, battery size and additional options.
Step 3: installation – 3–5 days in our workshop or at a partner location.
Step 4: TÜV inspection – With our documentation you pass the first time.
Step 5: drive! – Your electrified classic car is ready for the road.
Choosing the right kit
Important factors when choosing a kit:
- Reversibilitaet – Can the original engine be reinstalled? At ESDI: always.
- TUeV-Zertifizierung – Without TÜV there is no road registration in Germany.
- Range – How far do you drive daily? 200 km is enough for 95% of all trips.
- Power – 150 hp is enough for everyday use, 300+ hp for sporty ambitions.
