Classic MINI
This project is the first vehicle converted to electric drive by ESDI EV Technologies. Initially, a Nissan Leaf motor with 80 kW output was installed and used as a test and demonstration vehicle. The disadvantage of using the Nissan Leaf drivetrain with the Nissan Leaf gearbox (single-speed transmission) is that a maximum speed of just under 100 km/h can be achieved. Therefore, the second expansion stage was designed and built with a Tesla Model S Front-Driveunit (up to 220 kW). With this, speeds of up to 150 km/h are also possible.

DRIVE
Der Classic Mini wird wahlweise von einer kleinen Tesla Heck-Antriebseinheit angetrieben mit einer maximal Leistung von 220 kW (299 PS) oder kann auch mit einem Nissan Leaf Antriebsstrang mit 80 kW Leistung versehen werden (Höchstgeschwindigkeit limitiert auf 100 km/h).
BATTERY
Als Traktionsbatterie kann zwischen unterschiedlichen Batteriemodulen gewählt werden. Es können dabei bis zu 28 kWh verbaut werden, ohne den Innenraum zur Unterbringung von Batterien zu nutzen.
